Every two years, the
Richmond Symphony Orchestra League (RSOL), a booster organization for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and symphonic music in the Richmond, Va. area, hosts its popular
Designer Home competition and fundraiser. The fundraiser has interior and landscape designers compete for a chance to design one of the rooms, closets or outdoor living spaces in a home that is open for special events and public tours following its completion. The designers submit proposals and work samples for consideration and then are interviewed by a panel before being chosen for one of the limited opportunities.
